Our Berkshire pigs, a red meat breed known for their marbled fat, are raised hormone, vaccine, and antibiotic-free, fed a diet free of GMO corn and soy, supplemented with surplus veggies from our market garden and fruit trees, and pasture-rotated. They are processed at our USDA-certified facility in late January for February delivery. COSTS: A $200/deposit secures your 1/4, 1/2 or whole share, along with free delivery. Butcher fees (est.$150 for half; $300 - $400 for full, incl. bacon + sausage) are paid separately upon delivery for half and whole shares. Quarter share include butcher fees.
